All growth is a leap in the dark, a spontaneous unpremeditated act without benefit of experience.

LEAP!

Happy February 29! I have two friends who are Leap Year Babies — one is turning “nine” years old today, and the other is turning “seven” years old. I always found this a bit funny.

Leap year reminds us to leap, no? Leap and the net will appear. So go forth. Go for it. 2012, I’m telling you, is an awesome year.

REMINDERS TO LEAP FORWARD

You know yourself, yes? Sometimes you lack motivation….you self-sabotage…you give up…or you get “busy” and forget. So here are some reminders to move forward towards your goals and dreams:

Doing is a quantum leap from imagining.

 – Barbara Sher

Leap, and the net will appear.

 – John Burroughs

We must walk consciously only part way toward our goal, and then leap in the dark to our success.

 – Henry David Thoreau

– Cynthia Heimel

And once your needs are met, you will likely be far more capable of helping those who need you most.

Which also means:

No.4: STOP PUTTING YOUR OWN NEEDS ON THE BACK BURNER

The most painful thing is losing yourself in the process of loving someone too much, and forgetting that you are special too. Yes, help others; but help yourself too. If there was ever a moment to follow your passion and do something that matters to you, that moment is now.
